Today's GOTD offer says it has no support. I have several Ashampoo products, which are all ecxcellent for my simple needs. If it has a time-limit that the company does not tell you about til you have downloaded it, I am surprised. I am not going to insatll a program (which I suspect will remove or overwrite its predecessor) and then find out there are strings, like a time limit. That is why I was asking if anyone could advise the best action. Have you found when you installed it (from the link I gave) that it says this is time limited? Please tell me how you found out it is time limited.

I downloaded the program but did not install it yet.
It does not mention on the download pages anything about time limits. I found version 7 at three different prices (and the version 6 options at an enormous number of prices) - then I found the free offer for version 7 that I listed. i found lots of different offers for versions 6, 6.6, and 7 - some free and many different prices for the paid Dr Ken: NOT FREE the URL is different, and the offer is different. This is not the same offer that you refer to.

That said I saw some posts for some who used WinUtilities (which is also great) and you can get the Professional version of WinUtilities and some other programs for free here ->. Win Optimizer is a great program and Ashampoo should only be praised for all of the free offers that they promote. Those of you who complain about the spam are complaining about something that is easily avoidable as mentioned in several posts above.

I was skeptical about Ashampoo products in general until a few years ago when I decided to try out their Burning Studio line of software, and this is obviously top of the line software that performs well and does not give you the bloat and useless options and add-ons of the highly regarded and highly useless Nero products.
